The Role for Diabate
Diabate is a unique resource that provides the most up-to-date and accurate information about the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), for healthcare professionals who treat patients with T2DM.
Diabate brings together distinguished experts in diabetes, endocrinology, cardiovascular and renal medicine in an ongoing programme to review, discuss and understand the latest scientific and clinical developments relevant to T2DM and its complications.
The Diabate Steering Committee
Diabate is led by a Steering Committee of international opinion leaders in the fields of diabetology, endocrinology, cardiology and nephrology, who develop the scientific programme.
These distinguished experts ensure that the resources are of high quality and clinically relevant to practising physicians who treat T2DM. You can find out more about the Diabate Steering Committee here.
What is on Diabate?
Diabate uses the latest technology to offer an innovative, multimedia experience as well as providing more conventional educational resources.
You can watch the Diabate experts debating the various challenges of diabetes management in live panel discussions, short video briefings and webcam discussions. Approximately every quarter, Diabate Steering Committee members will hold a live panel discussion, with audience questions invited.
The Diabate Steering Committee and nominated experts also develop other conventional educational resources and commentaries about the complexities of management of T2DM. These useful resources include slide kits, analysis and commentary on recent literature publications, case studies and reports from medical congresses.
All these resources are available on-demand to suit your busy schedule. If there are any features or topics you would like to see on Diabate, please tell us.
